16 February 2005	Laurence Rose	Europe's Threatened Bird Species	Laurence is the RSPB's expert on endangered birds.
16 March 2005	David Brown	Butterflies vs. Birds	Warning colours and survival techniques used by butterflies and moths to avoid bird predation.
20 April 2005	Paul Fuller	Funny Name for a Bird	How our birds got their names.
18 May 2005	June Stevens	Hedgehogs	A speaker from the British Hedgehog Preservation Society. Preceded by a brief AGM.

7 December 2005 N.B. first Wednesday	David Tideswell	All About Robins	The natural and non-natural history of our Robin Redbreasts. Plus seasonal refreshments.
