We lead weekday walks in and around Walsall.
Members usually travel to the venue by car or public transport; car sharing is encouraged, and a lift may be available — please ask for details; or let us know if you intend to meet us at the venue.
Meet at 10.15 a.m. for 10.30 a.m. start, unless otherwise stated. Walks usually last 1–2 hours. They do not involve steep hills, but can be muddy, so please wear appropriate footwear.

| Thursday 29 March 2012 | Swan Pool, Sandwell Valley. | We'll walk around Swan Pool and visit Priory Wood (with the remains of the Benedictine Sandwell Priory) and the Icehouse Pools. Meet at Swan Pool Car Park, Park Lane, West Bromwich. |
| Thursday 26 April 2012 | Sutton Park, Birmingham. | The park is included in English Heritage's list of historic parks and gardens and most of the site is also a Scheduled Ancient Monument, a National Nature Reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Meet at Streetly Gate. |
| Thursday 24 May 2012 | Queslett Local Nature Reserve, Birmingham. | A comparatively young reserve, on a former gravel quarry then landfill site. Meet by the petrol station on the Asda car park. |
