HIGH-flying members of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds in Walsall are to be rewarded for their service at a ceremony tonight.
Walsall RSPB committee member Ken Nichols will be presented with a "kingfisher" award for 15 years of volunteering.
Mike Pittaway, Jane Davies Mike West and Ann West will receive "swift" awards for five years' work, while Steve Bailey, Peter Hunt, Eileen Wilkinson and Liz Bolton are to receive "puffin" awards for ten years with the society.
The awards ceremony will be part of the Walsall branch's monthly meeting in the hall of St Mathew's Church, Walsall, where there will be a talk on the RSPB's Coombes and Churnet Valley reserves.
Admission is £1.50.
